Teach For Oklahoma’s Impact was born from a simple question: What would it take to help Oklahoma become one of the nation’s strongest states in public education?
Our team has spent decades working alongside Oklahoma educators and schools, including some of the state’s lowest-performing schools. That experience shaped a conviction: meaningful educational improvement begins with the people in the classroom.
Teach For Oklahoma’s Impact was created to help prepare, support and develop Oklahoma educators who are ready to make a difference—not only in the lives of individual students, but in the future of education across our state.

A New Pathway Into Teaching.
Teach For Oklahoma’s IMPACT helps aspiring educators pursue a pathway to becoming teachers in Oklahoma. Through preparation, support, coaching, and professional growth, this program is designed to help future educators develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to enter the classroom… and to make an impact in the lives of students.
IMPACT stands for Innovative Model for Professional Advancement through Coaching and Teaching.
